Crossroads

KT left work early to take one of our cats, BJ, to the vet. It seems he might have a small inflammation in his bladder. So, the vet prescribed him some steroids. So, hopefully, this will be the solution. He had been taken to the vet 2 months earlier and was given medicine. However, the problem still persists. The vet did say that if it still continues and other options run out, it may just be a behavioral problem. You see, he's constantly going to the cat litter to pee. It's like he's a diabetic. So, hopefully the steroids will take care of the problem. *fingers crossed*

Last night, we watched "Crossroads", starring Britney Spears. It's a cute chick flick. I thought "how interesting" when Britney has admitted she wants to be like Madonna and in the opening scene, Britney (playing as Lucy) has a poster of Madonna in her bedroom. Coincidence? So, if you're in the mood for a mellow chick flick, check this movie out.

KT's mom is stopping by tonight. So, we're both looking forward to spend some time with his mom and stepfather. Actually, KT will leave work early to spend the majority of the day with his mother. I'll join them after work.

I saw an ad for a new movie, now playing in theatres, White Chicks, featuring Shawn and Marlon Wayans. I find it interesting that the brothers play FBI agents and go undercover by posing as white females. The reason why I find it interesting is because it seems to be "okay" for blacks to put on another skin color, for whatever reason (humor, political, etc.) Yet, if a white person was to color him/herself black, it's considered "racist". There was a drag queen who recently toured DC. He's actually a white guy but when he drags, he's a black female. That caused an upset among the Black community and tried to encourage the GLBT community to not show up at the queen's performances. Of course, people still attended. So, it's ok for one race to do it but not ok for another person of a different race? I don't get it.

Anyways, better get busy with my projects. ta ta...
